About Kristina

Hello and welcome! I am Kristina Garvida Doucette, a performing artist currently based in NYC. I am a Filipino-Native American, non-binary Seattlite with Autism Spectrum Disorder. However, that’s a bit of a mouthful, so Kristina works just fine. :)

I have been dancing since I was three years old when I invented “The Nina Shuffle.” Basically, my mom caught me going HAM on a Dance Dance Revolution machine at the movie theater, and I haven’t stopped moving since! In addition to dancing, I also have a great passion for both singing and acting as well. It is when I get the opportunity to do all three at once that I feel my most empowered and beautiful.

My dream has always been to help make change in the world through art. It is my mission to continue making steps toward that dream each day.
